Husband:

My husband Randy has been painting signs & pinstriping since he was a teenager, and he's been doing it full time since 1984. Randy Johnsen Signs has always been a home-based business and has been at it's current location since 1987.

Randy does all of the painting & sign fabrication, most of the installation & design work, and is the main contact for most customers. I take care of the bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and the design & production on the computer, + I occasionally work on other outside projects.

We've been married since 1982. Both of us are self-taught artists.

Children:

Daughter, Brittan, is a 2006 graduate of the University of MN, & is a talented, award-winning journalist (& poet). She is currently the Business Editor at the St. Cloud Times.

Son, Adam, currently taking a break from college, is a BRILLIANT guitarist, mathematician & video game whiz, & can solve a Rubik's cube in no time flat!

Four other children, loved more than anyone will ever know, did not survive past birth.

Pets:

I don't have photos of every tropical fish, hermit crab, lizard, frog, mouse or guinea pig who've ever lived with us. I am, however, including photos of the cats who became very special members of our family.
