Most of my drawings are done using
technical pens of varying sizes (.25-.50mm). I use only the highest
quality fade-proof inks, watercolor paints and lightfast colored pencils.
The drawings are created on archival-quality, acid-free Strathmore Bristol
Board or, occasionally, on top-quality watercolor boards or paper.

Unlike many artists, I don't
do preliminary sketches. I usually just start drawing with a pencil
at the bottom left corner of the paper and sort of work my way up the
drawing, zig-zagging across the paper until I get to the top. When I
have the basic elements down in pencil, I go back and start doing the
real drawing with my technical pens. I consider my "style"
to be representational, but not quite realism.
Most of my pictures take between 15-120 hours to
complete. This can make the larger ones rather expensive, but I plan
to have more affordable prints and cards for sale in the near future.
See Pricing/Payment.

I
have been in art galleries in the past but, at least for now, I prefer
to remain independent.
