How much does a Website cost?

That depends on what you want or need. A simple site may cost just a few hundred dollars. A simple webpage (an online "brochure") is even less. A larger, more complex site could be several thousand dollars. For an accurate estimate, please call or email for a free consultation.

How long will it take to build my website?

A small site may take just a few days, larger sites could take anywhere from a week or two up to several months.

I think I want a website, but I'm not sure. Can I just register a domain? (www.whateveryouwant.com or .net, etc.)

Sure. That's both inexpensive and easy.

I can see you make nice-looking websites but can you help me develop an E-commerce solution?

I sure can. I can build you a virtual online store, with a shopping cart, credit card processing, forms processing (for interactivity, including online ordering, surveys, etc.). And I can generate graphical statistics & traffic reports to help you track visitors to your website.

As long as everything works, does it really matter if the site looks good?

Oh YES it does. Statistics show that you have about 3 seconds to "grab" the attention of a visitor to your site. If it's boring or poorly designed, they will click off.

How do I get started?

Here's some general info about the Website Design Process:

1. Call or email for a free consultation. I'll answer any questions you may have, I'll find out all I can about your business, and we will discuss what you want and need in order to decide on basic content and structure for the site.

2. Design Concepts: As with logo design, I will offer you several choices for basic layout of how your site will look.

3. Build the Website: We put together copy & graphics, revise as necessary, test and upload to the server.

4. Launch the Site: Enjoy!

My website is up, now what?

There are complicated and sometimes expensive ways to drive traffic to your website, but most small businesses benefit more from generating less random visitors. That means directly marketing to your current customers and target market.

The most economical way to inform your customers (and potential customers) is simply adding your URL to the advertising you already use: business cards, vehicle lettering, postcards & other print advertising...I can help you get the word out with my Design Services.

It's also a good idea to update your website periodically. A very active site should be updated at least monthly.

If you have more questions, please feel free to call or email...
